PHYSICAL DISTANCING ALARM SYSTEM BASED ON PROXIMITY SENSOR AND MICROCONTROLLER

Keeping an interaction distance between 1 to 2 m is one of the health protocols during COVID-19 pandemic. This attempt was made reduce spread Coronavirus. On other hand, this protocol activity often overlooked, whether intentionally or not. According mechanism Coronavirus spreading in form droplets that comes out communication, sneezing, coughing, maintaining can be best effort minimize transmission virus. Therefore, availability a simple, accurate and user-friendly physical distancing alarm system could solution implementation protocol. In study, prototype based on sensor microcontroller identity card developed. Several steps are conducted developing system, namely designing instrumentation testing performance system. System tested through variations angle objects. The measurement results show detect objects front up 2.8m for 1m. using different angles performed left right sides sensor. addition, warning will when object exceeds allowed distance.
